Some suite upgrades in the past months, all booked as a standard room:

Hilton Rotterdam (Netherlands): Upgraded to executive suite on 7 separate stays.
Hilton Garden Inn Bali Ngurah Rai Airport (Indonesia): Upgraded to 1 bedroom suite (great deal for 5K points!).
Hilton Tallinn Park (Estonia): Upgraded to deluxe one bedroom suite.
Caribe Hilton (Puerto Rico): Upgraded to one bedroom suite with ocean view in the Villas-part of the hotel.
Millennium Hilton Bangkok (Thailand): Upgraded to panorama river view suite.
Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah (UAE): Upgraded to king tower suite with sea view and balcony.

All upgrades (except WA RAK) processed prior to arrival.

I know it would be a really really long shot but anyone have experience with upgrades at Hilton Waikiki Beach on long term stays? I booked 27 nights, going for work, and I booked the minimum I would take, a King executive mountain view room. Am a Lifetime Diamond. I check in tomorrow. Saw in the FT thread for the hotel to not check in online as front desk sometimes does the upgrades as you check in.Wife will be with me. Checking the app they have pre-assigned rom 3711 though I have not checked into it yet. Not expecting anything but always hoping. Just wondering if anyone has any experience here.

Darcy Hotel Washington DC (Curio)
From a King Deluxe to a very nice king studio suite. Noticed it in the app prior to check-in. And on a sub-$100 rate as well.

First stay at this hotel - I like it.

Nicely done, I just got rocks there when I last stayed in September, 2017. Still a good hotel though.

You may only have 16 posts but you will fit in nicely here staying at 4 different Hiltons during a four night stay in one city, presumably to take advantage of the 2000 points per stay promotion!

HGI Rochester/Pittsford . Didn't know such a thing existed at an HGI, but ended up in a huge suite, had to be 1500 sq ft. Seating for 6, large wet bar, jacuzzi that could hold 2 comfortably.

HGI Seaworld - Orlando, FL

Basic Suite - Corner room.

The mini-fridge was a block of ice. The service was quick and courteous when I asked them to defrost it.
