Booked standard King room, 3 days prior to arrival upgraded to King executive, later that day upgraded to Junior suite. It was a huge room (but old fashioned).

Booked King room upgraded to a corner king suite. It wasn't automatic. I did proactively emailed the property and within minutes they responded back with an upgrade.

1 bedroom suite, 14th floor with panoramic views
Booked king guest room with points at Doubletree M square Dubai, upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite with panoramic views. We had to wait until 2:30pm for the room. We came 12noon and was told they could upgrade us to a 2 bedroom apartment (about 50USD more expensive than the suite we got) but it was on the 2nd floor so we told the associate we could wait

Fantastic room that looked modern and high-end. Just a great property overall.

4. stay in 2021, first time Suite in 2021 Upgrade at top floor. Unexpected upgrade since it was a 5 day stay on points. Second room got upgraded to a Executive room as well.

Booked basic king room paid rate for 3 night stay. Upgraded to King Duplex Suite 2 days ahead of check in. Brand new hotel, one of the best Hilton we stayed at.

Booked King Coastal View 5th night free on standard reward redemption at the HHV and was upgraded 4 days out to an Oceanfront King in the Rainbow Tower.

Booked 2 queen room, upgraded to 2 queen studio suite. It's basically a junior suite, and the highest category room available. Upgrade wasn't mentioned nor did I receive an email, but I noticed the room changed in the app the day of.
