Conrad Centennial Singapore

Upgraded to the presidential suite (3001), which was a first. Big suite with several rooms (meeting room, small kitchenette, meeting room with view of the marina, lounge, and big bedroom and bathroom of course. Everything is a bit old-fashioned to my taste, but comfortable enough.

Snacks and wine in the EL were acceptable. Lounge was a bit over-crowded with non-presidential suite Golds to be honest ... (oops. funny how an upgrade can go to your head so quickly).

Because of the lounge size I took breakfast in Oscar's on the ground floor - after a tasty, freshly-prepared omelette and some coffee and fruit, I checked out and reverted to being a non-presidential normal mortal again.

Y'all, I got upgraded to a studio suite at a Hampton!

But I had to ask for it at the desk. The HH app doesn't allow me to pick anything beyond what was booked. I find HH upgrades far fewer than SPG where I rarely have to ask.

Hilton London Wembley - Standard King booked in the sale, upgraded at check in to a King Suite without asking. It did not show on the app or reservation beforehand.

Yep, I had 598 if I remember correctly, whilst it was a reasonable size it was an odd shape.
Always request room 531 when booking and I'm mostly successful on receiving it, they are good with upgrades here.....see my trip reports....safe travels!

Those reading the Conrad Maldives thread know but I had a nice upgrade there recently;

Booked 7 nights for a Beach Villa using points; prior to arrival agreed to pay for an upgrade to a Superior Water Villa for 3 nights (with 4 nights remaining in the original Beach Villa).

Upgraded to:

3 nights in a Deluxe Beach Villa and 4 nights into a Deluxe Water Villa.

Hence the actual success is:-

4 nights of Beach Villa ; upgraded for 3 nights in a Deluxe Beach Villa and 1 night in a Deluxe Water Villa

3 nights in a Superior Water Villa upgraded to the Deluxe Water Villa.

It was fantastic that the upgrade happened at this resort; guess it made up for the lousy or no upgrade experiences prior to this stay.

Hilton Brussels Grand Place
Booked a standard room last night for today.
Upgraded to junior suite. I actually prefer these to the full suites...

Sneaky £63 sale rate Doubletree London Greenwich preupgraded to 907 Jnr Suite . All stays bar two (think I'm over 12) to a suite or a Deluxe room on the 9th floor . There are two rooms on the 2nd floor marked as Deluxe 203 and 205 are IMHO smaller 'suites' complete with huge bathroom with large tub and upgraded shower !

Nicely done. I did not have your suite luck when I was there last year.

This reminds me, I forgot to report that I got upgraded to a king suite from a king guest room booking when I stayed here last month, cash booking via honors discount.
