Meh - I hate Marriott but I'm still better off doing two one-night Courtyard stays and getting a Cat 1-4 free night than I am to do a two-night Hampton stay and get 5k (e.g. 1/5 of a free Cat 3 night) back.

A. SPG's 144 exclusions out of 1,041 properties
B. HH's exclusion of 245 properties out of 3,750

I might be missing something but how do Sat and Sun not qualify as "at least two consecutive nights between Thursday and Sunday"?

If this is good on rewards stay, this will be nice this weekend. I am on a rewards stay THursday to Monday.

Could it be that a qualifying weekend stay must include a Friday or Saturday night stay, and they were just not that thorough in giving examples? And btw, I actually like this promo. And hopefully it will trigger something from SPG and Hyatt to match.

Is anyone else having a problem getting the list of excluded hotels for this promo to come up when clicking the link? I just get this:

Anyone know if you have to register before booking or just before completing your stay? I don't see anything mentioning a booking timeframe, but just thought I'd check.

This is puzzling. I would have assumed that the answer is "no". But, reading the T&C, I find nothing that excludes reward stays. I've actually got about 9 days of rewards stay scheduled in the 1st quarter, so this is an interesting question to me as well.
