Any information on the Conrad - Gold Coast will be appreciated and on anything else to do near it in January.

Thanks

Very nice hotel. Secluded swimming pool. Monorail to the beach. Gambling & shows.

We were upgraded to a great suite with a huge balcony and view of the gold coast.

A top notch full service hotel.

Conrad Jupiters Surfers Paradise AU

Does anyone have any experience staying at this hotel? I am staying there next week and was wondering if they honor Hilton Gold status (upgrade, free breakfast) and if they have free parking. Thanks very much!

That sounds terrific! I think I'm going to book the room using the Entertainment Book rate, so I hope we will still get an upgrade. Did you get spa privileges or free breakfast? Thanks for your help, chix

You should get everything promised under:

Refer to the section:

At US Hilton Hotels, and at Conrad and Doubletree hotels......

My experience just a few days ago was that I received the nice corner room with balcony, but their knowledge of HHonors was terrible.

I had to ask 3 or 4 people before they would give me a breakfast voucher. ("That's a room-only rate" and "We're not owned by Hilton" being among the reasons for not honouring Gold status.)

None of them knew about the 250 point bonus for flying in on an airline partner, but they looked it up on the net and said that I'd get it.

What Entertainment rate did they quote you? Just curious.

Conrad Jupiters — Gold Coast

Does anyone have any experience at how they treat Golds here? Looking at a stay there over christmas and thought we'd either give them a try or Palazzo Versace.

We stayed there last June. I remember having a nice room and some coupons for breakfast in the buffet, which was very good. We enjoyed it. Have a good visit.

We got a corner suite with balcony, free newspaper, and buffet coupons (the food was not very good though) last September. It was a very nice hotel. Enjoy your stay!

Any experiences at the Gold Coast?

Looking forward to a stay soon and wondering if there are any specifics I should ask for (e.g., best rooms, etc.)?

Is there a exec lounge or should I ask for breakfast as a diamond?

I was there as a gold w/my fam of 4. As it was new years' eve, no upgrade was available. They did tell me they 'upgraded' me to an 'ocean view' room; dunno if that was the case, since it seemed pretty ordinary, and the ocean is, what, a quarter mile away?

They did agree to give certs for continental breakfast for four in their restaurant.

I enjoyed the stay.

We did stay there over Christmas, but on a 'wotif' puchase, as opposed to a valid booking. When we checked in, I flashed my Gold VIP card - the nice check in agent did say it didn't apply to Wotif stays, but upgraded us anyways. Our Wotif rate included breakfast - not a bad buffet, actually.

The one bad thing was that the casino closed at midnight on christmas eve, and didn't open until midnight on christmas day! The line up was huge to get in, but we gambled until about 5am..

I actually don't even remember the room we stayed in, but I do know that it was an Ocean View.
