HHonors Diamond
YTD Stays: 9
YTD Nights: 11
Avg. $160/night
Would have been 10 and 13, but I had to stay at a Hyatt on one trip.

Looks like koko is the high roller on the per night basis--nice to have some else payin' the bills or is it the bar tab that drives it up?

Last year I had only 20 Hilton stays for the entire year. To date:
- 14 valid stays plus a Priceline stay that happened to be assigned to the SF Hilton (shows up as 1 stay, 0 points on the HHonors web site).
- 24 nights
- 3 Hamptons, 5 Doubletrees, 3 Embassys, 3 HGIs
- 15/15 on getting free breakfast, even on the Priceline stay
- Upgraded to the Presidential Suite at the DT Nashville after my original room's door lock wouldn't work
- $2395 excluding tax, or $100/night (but I qualify for state gov't rate on about half my stays)
And probably most importantly from Hilton's perspective: 100% of my hotel stays in 1Q02 have been at Hilton properties. This will change in April for a variety of factors (Priceline in Boston during high season, no good Hilton in Lansing MI, etc.) but I'll still be using Hilton for at least 1 and probably 2-3 stays/month. I'm also shoving about $800 Hilton's way in May for vacation stops in Vienna and Prague, so we can use my soon-to-be-new Diamond status.

Hilton Diamond
YTD Stays: 12
YTD Nights: 18
But at the end of March they will give us double credit for stays and nights putting me at 24/36, only need four more stays all year to make diamond again.
SPG has a similar promo that started later and I have 21/25 with them. The double stay/night credit has already been acct'd for.
