You guys in the US don't know how lucky you are. Even something clearly British (like British Airways) will give away 50,000 miles with a credit card if you live in the US, but only 10,000 if you are actually in Britain.

The UK Hilton card is a joke.

The thread title caught my eye and I hoped it might be available for us over here. Sadly not then, although no real surprise.

I just received this same offer in my email, but for 60k points.

Now, I am UA1K and HH recently gave me gold status out fo the blue a couple of months ago....now I receive this targeted email. So, what are 60k in HH points really worth in hotel stays or is it better to transfer them for airline miles.

They're worth a lot less than they used to be...

Maybe so, but for those with less exotic tastes wouldn't this get you two nights in a mid-range Hilton, or maybe four in a lower rated property?

I guess it depends on whether people are collecting points to save money or to live the high-life.

New offer of 60K now: https://www262.americanexpress.com/a...jOB8d0IYM9#our This is from a thread on MB! With the recent devaluation it still looks puny.

We don't even have a Hilton CC in Canada. SPG and Marriott both have had cards for several years. I'm not sure why Hilton is so far behind on this.

Of course if they came out with a card today, I'm not sure I'd apply given the apparent devaluation with the new premium rooms scheme raising room redemption costs on so many properties.
