There was a big flash market crash about a few years ago which resulted from someone accidentally placing a sell order on the magnitude of "wrongness" as this authorization. Someone accidentally placed a sale order for Procter & Gamble with an extra few zeros in the number of shares and the Dow just plunged because P&G's value went down something like 30% in a few minutes and also created a bit of pandemonium amongst investors.

Stayed there last week for two nights. Arrived very late and slept through breakfast (damn!). As said, two exec lounges that are identical. Weird.
Nice hotel with park across the street. Asked about somewhere to get a drink late at night and never did get answer. Went to connivence store across the street for bottle of wine and snack.
The airport limo/bus worked very well to and from airport. Dropoff and pickoff right at front door - not even at the street.
We left very early and they delivered a lite breakfast to go at exactly 5:15. Think that was part of Diamond perk.
Though it was cool out, we could not get the room cold enough for sleeping. Did not bother to call.

Hilton Millennium Seoul breakfast
Hi all,
Have a question about a planned trip to Seoul.
Have finally manged to save enough HH points to cover 5 nights of a 9 night stay in Seoul as my wife and I have wanted to go for a long time and bargain flights came up
My question is:
for the 4 nights I have to pay for am i better getting a standard room with continental breakfast (do they actually check if you are eating only continental fair? as from experience its all in the same section and nobody really watches what you eat)
or do I pay for a Executive level room with breakfast in the lounge (and hope they upgrade us for the other 5 nights we have booked with points so as to not change rooms
Have HH gold, remember a stay from a couple of years back at the Hilton in Tokyo and had exec level and breakfast in the lounge was great. But reading various sites lounge breakfast in Seoul didnt rate highly.
Any help much appreciated.

Cancelled intercontinental coex last minute and booked this property without investigating first. Instantly regretted it.. Coming from Westin I probably expected too much. The breakfast in the lounge Is a joke, the salads and cold cuts aren't kept cold.
It is hard to even get a table.
The only positive thing was the upgrade to mountain view, but the curtains dont block enough light. U will wakeup at morning...
Well the location is also rather on the weak side. I guess "Millennium" Hilton stands for basic service....
At least I had some luck at their casino.

Add-on: club lounge is crowded with children, pool area as well. Guess this is the place to go when ur on a family trip....
The pool area doesn't also look very clean.
The Westin spoilt us way too much.
But there is a great restaurant across the street, the one that says featured on tv. They offer traditional dishes that come with 13 side dishes (paid around 60k krw for 2pax)

Anyone stay here recently? I have gold status and was wondering if this is worth paying the markup for over the courtyard at namdaemun. Would likely cost me $190 more over the course of three nights. In seoul for tourism.

Looking at traveller photos on tripadvisor, some of the bathrooms at this hilton look quite old and tired for a 4 star hotel.
Old fashioned bathtubs with PLASTIC curtains, rather than new walk-in showers.
Any refurbished/rennovated rooms available ?
