Arrow DISCUSSION for Hilton Honors Hotels in Philippines {PHL}

When will Hilton open a property in the Philippines? They had one before in Cebu, but that property was soil, and now there are no Hilton properties there. I go to the Philippines about every 2 months and it stinks to be able to earn stays and miles each trip. I stay for 3 to 4 weeks at a time so I would be Diamond already.

Marriott has built a beautiful new property connected to Resorts World there now across from NAIA. When is Hilton going to get with the program???

Any hope for a Hilton Property in the Philippines?

I travel to the Philippines approximately every 2 months and stay for 3 to 4 weeks at a time, but there are no Hilton properties there anymore. There was one in Cebu but it has since been bought out.

Any one know if there are any plans to open one there in the future? Marriott just opened a beautiful facility connected to Resorts World, strange how Hilton does not have a competing property there.

Thumbs up Great News: Planned Hilton Hotel in PH

Craig, your question seems to have been answered by this press release:

An imminent return to Philippine prominence for Hilton Hotels & Resorts via Resorts World Manila partnership

Here's Hilton's official announcement:

Hilton Worldwide Signs Agreement With Travellers International Hotel Group Inc. For Hilton Hotels & Resorts Expansion Into The Philippines

My last stay in a Hilton PH property was in Mactan, Cebu.

Yes to both, you can check in at the Executive at either property. At the Conrad though, you most likely will have to ask at the front desk if you can check in at the EL, and they will then escort you op to the EL, where as at Hilton its more than likely you will be escorted up directly to the EL. Both properties offer breakfast in the EL, though the choices will be rather limited. The choices at the restaurants will be more extensive with more local/asian options. I prefer the restaurant in the Hilton over the Conrad, its larger with more choices.

1. Yes they allow late check outs
2. I've asked and received anywhere from 2-4pm, I am a Diamond, only been refused late check out one time as the hotel was full the next day
3.Yes, you can stay at the Executive Lounge til your time of departure, hours are 6am-10pm
4. Depending on how fast you walk, 10 minutes at normal pace should get you to T3, the shuttle runs every 30 minutes so it depends on when you catch it, if you just missed then you are waiting 30 minutes for it to return.

just wondering if you’ve had experience with early check in there too, and how early? Thanks in advance!

I have checked in as early as 12pm, They are very accomodating, if there is a clean room available with your room type I do not think it should be a problem. You can always email them and ask in advance.

thanks for this. My flight will arrive at 5 am, so I’m not sure how lenient they will be. Would have emailed them but there is no mail on the site and the Nor1 upgrade offer doesn’t list early check in. I guess i’ll try my luck and worse come to worst stay for few hours at Holiday inn Express if I can’t get an early check in

Will do. It’ll be a while though, I’m going there next year, was considering options for early check in. And I’m a lowly Gold. Thanks for the PM too.

Hilton or Conrad Manila

I have a 7 stay coming up in Manila - any preferences for the Conrad or the Hilton? Hilton is newer.
