No credit when booking through a third party site.
If you want credit you would have to book directly through hilton.

But it turns out the person I was writing that question (that you answered) to is HH Silver, and if they are never above HH Silver anyway, I guess that explains why they might be interested in using AA miles for HH hotels, even though I (who am intrested in stay credit) wouldn't find AA miels for HH hotel bookings a good substitute for transferring AA to HH and then booking with HH points.

Still still available! And since it's 2012, you've got a new calendar limit at AA, so even if you maxed out last year, now you can transfer even more this year!
