How Long Should it Take to Get a Stay Posted once I have Sent HH the Documentation for the missed stay?

Anyone have anybody in particular they have dealt with in Customer Service that vcan get this done?

It seems it has fallen into the black hole and I have faxed the documentation twice already.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The few times I have had a missed stay I have had two situations: 1 - I submitted all the details online at the HHonors website and had the points posted within a week or two. 2 - I called the hotel directly to ensure that my HHonors number was posted and they submitted it...they said yes, but it took almost three weeks. If you have all your folio details, I would just submit it at the website. You don't have to fax anything, but you will need the details from yor folio.

If you use the form on the web they say it can take up to three weeks, so it may be the same for fax or mail requests. I'm two weeks into a web submission and still haven't seen the post.

Call them up and explain the situation. Most of the time they would ask how much your bill was, verify with the hotel in question, and update them accordingly. I have done this many times because my HH name doesn't match my reservation name (travel agent mix-up).

It took 7 weeks for my missing stay to post. I faxed first, which didn't get any results, and then submitted on the web site, which eventually got me the credit - slightly over 3 weeks later.
