I received my card several weeks ago. It has a 2004 expiration date.
After reading some of the prior posts, I am looking forward to getting my mail when I get home this weekend to see if I have a new card (with a 2005 expiration date)! :-)

In a prior thread on this subject, someone advanced the theory that this is like credit cards that are sent out with an expiry date that is 2 or 3 years from now, but you still have to pay the fee each year for the card to remain good. So if I don't requalify for Diamond this year, my card that says 2005 may not mean anything (assuming I don't try to fool hotel employees with it.)
Bottom line, we don't seem to know for certain yet what the 2005 expiry really means. If someone has firm info one way or another, please share.

I realize it is almost April and people may have already qualified for Diamond for next year but they won't get those new cards until next year. We are talking about the cards earned in 2002 for 2003. And some of the people receiving the 2005 expiration cards say they have a letter saying they must still re-qualify for it to continue beyond 4/2004. So I am wondering why some are getting those and others only getting cards that expire 4/2003.
Hope this clears up what I am saying about it not making sense.
