Status match request site: https://hiltonhhonors.hiltonapps.com/

Note new terms as of March 2017 (or a Little earlier - changed validity to 2019):
In June of 2018, the validity was changed to March, 2020

For the next 90 days, get a taste of the elite life with Hilton HHonors.
We'll match your elite status with any other loyalty program.

You'll also have the opportunity to extend your status match through March 31, 2020, when you stay with us over the next 90 days. If you're matched to Gold status, you'll just need to complete 4 stays. If you're matched to Diamond, you'll need 8 stays.

I did the Hilton status challenge that's 7 nights for gold and 12 nights for diamond. I'm just starting my stay that will get me my 7th night. When that posts, do we get an official email or anything that "confirms" our status has been extended to March 2024? Or any other way to check? Thanks!

Hilton Status Match Timeline

Hello,
I received an email this morning that my status match challenge was approved, and my status was upgraded to Gold.
However, my Hilton Honors account still shows Silver status.
I thought once I get the email, I should see the Gold status reflected on the account right away.
Has anyone experienced this? If so, how long should I wait for my account to reflect Gold status match challenge?

Does Go Hilton Family and Friends Rate Count Toward Status Match Diamond?

I am a partner of a Hilton employee and am able to access "Go Hilton Family and Friends" rates when available, which are often at substantial discounts.

I just did a status match and now have gold, but wish to stay 14 more nights in next 90 days to get Diamond.

Does anyone know if rooms booked on the Hilton website at this rate count toward my status match requirement?

TIA.

That would be a question for the employee I would surmise unless someone here is also an employee or partner and happens to know.

The Honors terms and conditions require a "Stay" to earn points and nights.

An "ineligible stay" doesn't earn. It looks like
yours is eligible. I would be surprised if the status match had a different definition for a qualifying stay but you should look for those specific terms

A "stay" is defined as the total number of consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, whether or not a guest checks out and checks back in again. Specifically excluded from the definition of "stay" are the following types of ineligible stays: wholesale/tour operator packages; contracted crew rates; travel agency discount rates; packages exclusively for casino player card holders; unauthorized Members staying on Go Hilton Team Member or Family & Friends Travel Rates; stays secured utilizing Hilton Grand Vacations Club and Hilton Club timeshare programs, HiltonGetaways.com bookings; Hilton Grand Vacations marketing packages with a sales presentation requirement; complimentary or barter rooms; NET Group rates; Series Group or IT Group rates; contracted Entertainment or Encore rates; third party websites bookings (irrespective of rate paid); and "opaque" channel bookings where the brand may or may not be known at the time of purchase.

Hilton Honors Points (or stay credit) may not be earned (including as a My Way benefit) for or during ineligible stays, including without limitation, folio charges incurred during ineligible stays.

What a stupid online system. Only takes JPG or PNG and then says it is too large. What idiot decided not to accept PDFs?

How long did it take to get your status match approved? I applied more than a week ago and my first stay is on Wednesday.

Once you’ve stayed the requisite number of nights to retain status until the end of 2024, does the account update to show this or will it continue to show the regular in-year requalification criteria?

I have recently taken Gold Fast track challenge: https://www.hiltonhonors.com/en_US/elite-gold-upgrade/
I would be completing this challenge in next 24 Hrs

Now, I have also applied for status match as well (Globalist - Hyatt)
I do have plans to stay at Hilton for ~20 nights in next 90 days.

Will they consider my Status Match request? as I may get gold in next couple of days.
Will I get an opportunity to get Diamond status?

Do they send any email that confirms request submission?

Hilton Status Match questions

Sorry if this has been answered I tried doing a search but couldn't find the answers I was looking for.
I'm planning to start a Hilton 90 day Status Match I currently have two stays booked one starting on the 16th April the other is ending on the 13th July. With these and a couple of other trips I should hit 14 nights...
However unless Hilton somehow start my status match between the 14th and 16th April I'm likely to miss out on a few nights.
Does anyone know how Hilton will handle it if my nights as part of one trip finish after the 90 days but the stay started before the 90 days?
Also do nights have to be booked directly I'm assuming so if booked via BA Holidays they won't count?
