Given wrong info - ordered wrong award

Has anybody been told by the Hhonors hot line to order a certificate for a stay and you found out later that for the stay requested, they quoted the wrong certificate?

I Booked a 2 night stay (weekday) at a hotel and was told to Order the HH4 certificate for
35000 points, so i thought great, cheaper than the weekend certificate and better than Marriott.

I now find out a couple of weeks before the stay in London that i need TWO of these HH4 certificates, not one as was told to me by the agent who booked my stay.

I phone them back and the supervisor couldn't do anything but did get me a reduced rate for the 2nd night at the hotel so that's something. I wouldn't mind paying for the other certificate if only it was published anywhere but I cannot find any notice of this certificate whatsoever. So it's my word against the agent and I think using a bit a judgement, they should take the word of the customer. What do other people think?
