Miles conversion using Hilton
 

Hi all,

Everyone talks about using Hilton point to switch frequent flier miles from one program to another. The figures I heard were that you lose around 30% of your miles this way. However I went to the Hilton website and did the math and it seems that you lose about 65% when switching miles from one program to HHonours points back into another program. Is there a way to switch miles through HHonours with only a 30% loss of miles or so.

Any advice would be very appreciated.

You lose anywhere from 60-70% of your miles depending on how many miles you convert.
