Stayed at the propoerty a weekend ago, great location and very nice setup. We got one room facing the railway line and one to the courtyard. The sound proofing is very good, you can't hear a thing when a train passes. The other side is a bit different, you hear the trains but its bearable. The airconditioning was switched off on the wall unit, which we only noticed later.

Covid19 had a limited impact, the breakfast seating is now spread across the cafe and the adjacent ball/conference room. The breakfast is a bit adjusted, but of high quality. Housekeeping only comes on request during the entire stay.

Street parking is easy to find, I kept driving up and down Uhlandstr and always found spots around Steinplatz. Paying for parking is easy using the app suggested or you buy a ticket with coins once in a while.

Stayed there again for a weekend this month and thing are back to 'normal': the breakfast is very nice with lots of choices that would put a normal Hilton breakfast buffet to shame. The wafflemaker is back, now with two stations and with a number of toppings. The conference/meeting room on the right has been converted to a breakfast room permanently. As someone mentioned before, they only have 3 rooms types of the same level, so HH Diamonds get room on a high floor away from the railway track as an 'upgrade' (asked at the reception what they are instructed to do).

Parked on Uhlandstr after crossing Kantstr. (one block away) parking is 1.5€/hr (between 9am and 10pm) if you have coins. Parking with the 'easypark' app costs double. The two parking garages on that block cost 15€/day, 2.5€/hour. The hotel has some parking spots which cost 25€/day.

This HI can be found for 80-100€/night on the various comparison portals and using corporate codes. Very good value for money in Berlin.
