Finding General Manager of a property

I have noticed that many people have gotten upgrades by contacting the GM of a property prior to arriving. Where can I find the name and contact information for the GM of a particular property? Will they tell me if I call and just ask? I would do that now, but I am at work and figured I would see if anyone had any tips. For anyone interested, the property I am interested in is the Embassy Suites Atlanta - at Centennial Olympic Park. Thank you in advance! :)

I would google the info such as "hotel name, general manager and email address" and will get the address. I was successful in doing so and got in touch with the Conrad BKK GM who wrote me back, see here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/12787455-post635.html

Agreed! Often times, I've found the GM's name in news articles or trade magazines about the property online via Google.

Not sure how much it helps the chance of an upgrade but you can just call and ask whoever answers the phone what the GM's name is. If they ask why you need it, tell them you just had a wonderful stay there and wanted to complement them, they will always give you the name.

Just email the Diamond Desk and ask for name/email.

I am emailed them with an issue for the first time and received exactly zero response...

Frustrating. I've always had a response within 6-12 hours.

Does the response come from [email protected] or a person's email address?
