new to hilton- sort hotels by price?

hi there, i am new to the hilton program. i did a search on hilton for hotels in the los angeles area... one thing about hilton that is great is their tremendous volume of properties, but when i was sorting the properties, there was no drop down option to sort by price, so trying to find the cheapest hotel in 4 pages of listings is difficult... the website only seemed to offer distance and brand. does hilton now allow you to sort hotels by price? i did a search on here under sort hotels by price but could not find a thread under hilton. any assistance is greatly appreciated. thank you very much.

Hi,
To sort by price you can use www.hilton.co.uk web site.

This is a function I never knew about either. The US site only allows organizing hotel search results by relevance, brand, and distance.

UK site has an additional price option. This is a useful feature when looking for the lowest price in a search return showing five pages of hotels as when searching San Francisco.

The problem with price is the price shown on the search page does not factor in discounts. A AAA rate will be better than the listed rates, but AAA rates aren't always available.

or the price displayed isn't available, that's quite a pain.

Thanks for the info - sadly the Hilton.com site once offered this feature but it dropped it some time ago.

Now if only there were a way to get a price list that didn't include advance purchase rates.....
