Point stays

when you book more than one room (example 3 rooms) on rewards during one stay...if you are gold...do all benefits apply to guests in each room? Hope this makes sense.

You are entitled to benefits for one room, but some hotels extend the benefits to all rooms, some don't. I don't think the T&C's specifically spell this out, however.

Only the room you are in, though some properties are very generous with the benefits. If you are booking for other people and nobody with status is going, then no benefits at all probably.

only the room you are in will get the gold benefits....however, points from all incidental charges, from all 3 rooms will get credited to your gold account....

again, it varies by property.

I suppose you could give everyone in the other rooms the right to charge items to your room as the master room, but supposedly one can get credit for only two room's worth of spending if the charges are all on the same folio. It is impossible to make award reservations for multiple rooms with one confirmation number, however, so I am not so sure that one can combine separate award folios onto one folio.

you are right, some properties do extend the benefit to all rooms booked under one name, but in all probability the op will only get the benefit for the room he is staying in....

i have booked multiple rooms under my name on a number of occasions & have never had a problem with getting everything credited to my account....

Ah yes one of the wonderful often unstated benefits of a HH mutual account:) double points, double miles, double stay credit and even points for a third room and under those circumstances where you might get those "mystery points" on an award stay why would you want to combine folios?

I have done this with both awards and paid rooms (as a Diamond, however) and all the guests have had my Diamond benefits, except the points which I got) every time. I had no idea it would be otherwise. I do it 3-4 times per year somewhere or another.
