I am at the Hilton Bonnet Creek now and I have seen no sign of a lounge and it was not mentioned during check-in. I did get breakfast coupons for the Harvest restaurant. It is very nice and as usual you can upgrade to a full breakfast for $6.00. Very nice property, but there are some small issues. I was not offered the breakfast coupons at first, but I called down this morning and they brought them up. The garage costs $13 a day for self parking, which I think is a bit much in Orlando, and the readers for scanning your room key are not working at the moment. No water was in the room, either free or those buy it bottles. There is room for a mini-bar, but none are installed. I am on the 18th floor and it is very nice and quiet up here. Huge 47" or larger flat screen with a number of HD channels.

I stayed at the DT Disney last weekend they charged 9 bucks for parking and it use to be free. I think the hilton is 10 for self parking and that use to be free also. Seems to be the new trend near disney, like the airlines and bag fees.

More on Bonnet Creek
I found a room just off of the elevators on the 16th floor that looks like a club. There are a set of double doors and no room number. There were two large drum-like tables in front. I tried my key card, but no go. There is also no sign. Perhaps it was meant to be a club and they dropped it, or perhaps it just is not open yet. As I said, no mention of a club was made when I checked in.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Bonnet Creek for $135 per night. This is a really nice hotel but is experiencing some growing pains. First of all we got lost trying to find the place. Stopped at 2 other Hiltons and their valets gave us incorrect directions. It is not too far from Downtown Disney. I actually liked the fact that it was a little off the beaten path but it is close to the very nice outlet malls. The growing pains were no water bottles in the room for Hilton VIPs, only 1 small trash can, and the maid left our dirty glasses by the sink but did leave new ones. Also the bus schedule they gave us was the old one. Once we got off the bus and talked to the concierge he put us in a town car to get us to the Magic Kingdom.
The valets were falling all over themselves to help us out. The Italian restaurant in the hotel is very good. The breakfast buffet at Harvest was well worth the upgrade. Unfortunately we did not use the pool but it looked great with a lazy river, water slide and pool side bar. They have a little cafe inside by the Harvest restaurant where you can buy fresh sandwiches and drinks.
Even with their growing pains, I would definitely stay here again.

Hilton Bonnet Creek Orlando
First let me say this is a NEW property, opening only 2 months ago (Oct 09). Let me also say it is Not on any GPS as the roads are new.
That being said this property is simply awesome ane would be a wonderful site for a convention which it is tailored for. The hotel is a class act. It is attached to a Waldorf Astoria and there is plenty of meeting rooms and some absolutely wonderful places to eat in the hotel (Try the Italian place in the Hilton...supurb).
Outside there is a wonderful pool complete with a lazy river and water slide for the kids. There are drink bars, plenty of lounge chairs, a hot tub and just a wonderful pool area.
The rooms are also top knotch. You know your in a nice hotel when you try to open your door which weighs a massive amount. This hotel is quite despite large amounts of conventions on some nights. My room lacked a bath tub but had a wonderful marble shower instead. There was plenty of work space and a nice king size bed with good quality sheets, comforters and pillows.
Since this property is near Disney and inside the gates, it is going to be popular as it becomes better known. I advise people to go stay there now while you can see it in it's splendor. It is not really near one of the major theme parks but closest to Epcot if I had to say it is close to one. The Wonderful World of Sports isn't too far and downtown disney is also fairly close but you need a car for both (Don't know about a shuttle)
Parking is $14.95 a day Self Park and $20 for Valet/

The Waldorf is by a mile. I was at the Hilton a couple of weeks ago. The hilton is nice, as the poster stated, but it is rather large. I was there when a convention was going on, and they did take over the pool that night. May cause problems in the summer with people taking the kids to Disney. The Waldorf seemed smaller and more personable. It reminded me of the ST Regis in ATL. Lots of MArble in the lobby small fountain. You can walk between the two vie the convention center. WA was about $100 more then Hilton that night.

Any idea if you stay at the Waldorf if you can use the Hilton pool area? We have young kids, but would like to use the Hilton facilities and stay at the Waldorf...how long of a walk between the two?

I was about to write a trip report about the HBC!!!
I've stayed there 2x in the past 2 months. I have not stayed at the Waldorf.
As a Diamond, you may (most likely) be upgraded from a "standard view" (i.e. I-4) to a "Disney View" (i.e. facing Disney property, not really a "view", per se). I have been told by the front desk that booking a "Disney View" room upgrades into a parlor suite, space available. My upgrade has never been available on a space-available basis.
The rooms themselves are very nice. I'm cynical w/r/t the Disney View. It's certainly nice... you look down onto the pool, the golf course, Disney's Pop Century Resort, and Hollywood Studios. If you crane your neck, you can see Epcot. The magic kingdom is out of sight. Amenities are standard Hilton amenities. The rooms do not have fridges standard. There is HSIA. I thought the water was a little too "chlorine-y" which I guess is expected in a new hotel. The beds are comfortable. The staff is incredibly nice and responsive.
The pool is heated to 80* year round. I'm a Floridian and don't like cold water (Floridians can understand). It was maybe 73 and sunny out after a brief cold spell and the pool was still comfortable.
The food options are excellent. The bar is "hip" and something I'd expect to see at a W. The breakfast restaurant has an outstanding selection of continental breakfast items including cheeses and meats. The made to order omelets are standard Hilton/ES. There's also a fancy Italian restauant on premises. I haven't been there yet. Next trip there is coming up so if it's notable, I'll edit this post.
Now the down sides: 1) Parking. Granted, there's a parking garage, which is nice. But why do I have to pay for parking??? It's a suburban hotel. 2) Beware of conventions! My most recent stay had a national sales meeting check in on my last night and they totally took over the place including closing some of the restaurants. Initially I was kind of irritated and bummed... but then decided it didn't matter and used my coupons in the coffee shop in the lobby. If you have kids, I don't know that I'd necessarily want them in this environment because it really becomes a "business" hotel and I'm not thrilled about exposing my young kids to people doing the singles/travel scene in the bar area as we come in from Disney fireworks at night.
bsdstone, the Hilton pool is 100-200 yards away from the Waldorf, accessible indoors. The Waldorf site talks about a pool and cabanas which makes me think the Waldorf has its own pool as the Hilton doesn't have cabanas. The Hilton's pool is mostly a lazy river with a tennis-court sized beach entry pool and a separate tennis-court sized pool adjacent to the bar which are both connected to the lazy river. There's a water slide which looked decent. Tons of lounge chairs by the pool. I'd be shocked if you couldn't use the pool as there's no ID checking of any sort on the 2x I've been there.
I'm headed back shortly, so obviously I like the place. I used to be a Doubletree Downtown Disney regular, but the HBC has won me over. On the other hand, DT is a better "family" style hotel. I won't stay at the Hilton Downtown Disney again with the HBC now open. I personally won't stay at the Waldorf due to the incremental cost increase ($100+ extra a night, a 75-200% difference, for what?)

I can say that I just checked out of the Hilton Bonnet Creek this morning. I stayed on a Q3FN certificate.
While there is a lot of excitement about this hotel on FT, I think it is a nice Average Hilton. I believe most of the excitement is because it is better than many of the other Hilton options in the area...
I will say that it is new and for the most part, it is a beautiful property. The Zeta Bar at the Hilton is really cool..
The rooms are average Hilton rooms. It was nice to have the shower stall vs. the standard tub thing. I booked a standard king room and was given a Disney View room as an upgrade. We were on a high floor, but do not be illusioned by the Disney view room. It overlooks Disney property, but not in a way that you would see anything. The view was nice since it also overlooked the pool and golf course. The alternative is a road and possibly I4.
They do not have an executive floor / lounge. The gold benefit was cont. breakfast in the restaurant or beverage and danish in the Coffee Shop. I took the coupon and upgraded it for $6 to the full breakfast. Since my partner had left early, I took his coupon to the coffee shop and got a pastry and coke to go..
We walked through the WA and I have to say that it is a nice property. We did not see the rooms, but it has a much more boutique feel than the Hilton.
Parking is $13 plus tax a night in a garage between the two hotels. There is valet for $20 I think....
It is not part of the Disney thing so there is no benefit of extra Magic Hours. There is complimentary Disney transportation to the parks though.
The pool area is wonderful. It has a lazy river and their is a great fitness room. I will say that the pool closes a bit early at 10PM.
I would stay here again, but I don't believe that the Hilton is a true CAT 7 as it is listed on the Hilton.com site. I would go Cat 6...

There is complimentary transportaion right outside the door. The golf course and spa are all right on property as well so the adults can be entertained.
It is a convention hotel, but there are kids...
FYI, if you have the points.. Instead of spending the 50,000 points per night at the Hilton, go for the 60,000 and stay at the WA... If you are spending that many points, just go all the way....
