Hilton Bogota Trip Reports and Reviews

Recently stayed at the new Bogota Hilton.

Good physical plant with quiet rooms and the best in fittings. Good area , very safe and close to some great malls.

Executive Lounge was small but breakfast was very nice. I did not check out the evening offerings.

Best thing was the staff. Excellent English from , bellman, front desk and operator and could not be more welcoming or helpful.

Sent an email to the General Manager with a few minor suggestions and he replied within 24 hours.

Great addition to the Hilton Family

Thanks for the info.

I have booked 2 nights in February. Good weekend rates.

I hope it is as nice as other properties in South America(Sao Paolo and Bs As come to my mind).

thanks for the details, I have forwarded my comments and now seek some imput from the hotel manager. not sure how or why the expectation of the hotel is to accept or approve that a room booked for 3 can be accomodated into only one bed. its up to you to decide....nor why the only solution on the day was to pay for an additional room.... international hotel chain or local family business... be the judge.... hilton loyalty as a diamond....or just a one night wonder.... experienced traveller versus new hotel and teething problems due to lack of experienced employees......the ball is in your court

Did you really need to start a new thread when there was an existing one with a NEARLY IDENTICAL subject???

I live 5 minutes away from Hilton Bogotá but they have bath tubs and I don't.

I really like the place, I think they have found incredible staff, invested well in training them and they speak great English too.

Only one quirk from my stay, a guy turned up in a hazmat suit one hour before check out to fumigate my room. Also him, and a couple of the staff members knocked once and then walked straight in. Dammit give me time to get to the door won't you?

I mentioned before on FT that the bar is gorgeous but always completely dead. It was a bit livelier this time ^ . When I got back to the hotel from a night out at about 2.30am the bar was absolutely kicking ^^ But it was a private event and closed to hotel guests

Here are some photos

2 doubles room

Precolombian arts in the corridors

Desk area

Bathroom

Bath items

Complimentary cheeses

Verdict: I am definitely going back next time I need a bath
