Pblm finding Neverlost in Vehicles

I am a PC with Hertz, but getting so aggravated in trying to book vehicles online that have NeverLost in the vehicle. Like when I am searching for a vehicle in PDX, I continue to receive a message that NeverLost is not available or is not in this type vehicle. Every time I try to book a standard or premium vehicle at PDX, I receive this message. I can go through all 31 types of vehicles at PDX and receive this message. That is just frustrating and PDX is not the only location I have to go through this mess. I know that many Hertz loyalist have left for their own reasons and this might end up being the reason I bolt for some other agency.

I wish there was some mechanism when booking online that vehicle could be listed as to having the available options such as NeverLost or Sirius or Child Seats, etc.

Anyone have a suggestion for me or perhaps tell me that I doing something wrong when attempting to book a vehicle that I cannot find the options I want in the vehicle?

It's not you it's Hertz - That could become a new saying!

What dates are you trying though ? I just picked a random date in February and found Neverlost on several vehicles.

I assume that Hertz has already assigned all the POSSIBLE cars with Neverlost out for the period your requesting

Anybody think Hertz might switch to portable GPS units like the Garmins that everybody else has? That would alleviate some of the problems of assigning specific cars. Like the one time I had a Ford Fusion booked through the Green Collection, and I had to wait while they sifted through a bunch of Neverlost equipped Fusions to deliberately find me one without

AndDee....I will keep playing with it before giving Hertz CS a call. I tried again this morning and still getting the same message, even after using the vehicles you identified above. I must be doing something wrong. I have tried with Neverlost as a preference and tried without Neverlost as a preference.

No issues here either with choosing a vehicle with Neverlost.

Question, is it possible you are using a corporate ID that may have restricted NeverLost use?

At $11.95 per day I'll pay for my new Garmin Nuvi 250 in about 5 rentals, so no need in the future to worry about Neverlost, or should I say in many instances, Everlost.

Have to agree the Neverlost pricing is a bit silly, for a 5 week rental

"neverlost navigational system 335.92 USD"

To add a voice to the choir -- after using my Garmin nuvi, I find Neverlost practically unusable. Can't imagine ever paying for it.

Ummmm... am I the only one who thinks its horrible that Hertz is still using these units. They consistently don't work and take forever to reroute you if you miss a turn. These Magellan units have got to be the worst!
