Convertible Corvette Question
 

If you move the passenger seat foward as far as it goes, is there any room beind for luggage storage?

I've rented it for 2 weeks but am travelling from miami to key west so need to be able to fit all my luggage in.

Nope, not really. Although for a convertible, I say it's got a decent sized trunk. I fitted one loaded backpack and a medium-sized travel luggage. There's more room in the trunk of the ZHZ though, if you really want to drive Corvette.

I'm using this thread to ask my own questions.

I'm trying to book a corvette (either convertible or ZHZ) for a week-end in LA, and it shows as sold out for months. Even dates in June are sold out, whether week-end or just one week day. Am I making a mistake in the way I'm booking?

Also, is there a way to book a corvette with points? How many? Link on the Hertz website? I couldn't find any info on this.

The ZHZ has pretty damn good boot space, more than the convertible in fact!

As for all the "Sold Outs" they change so often! However, the availabilty of any Prestige collection vehicle seems very poor until September......

That being said check every day, several times a day. I have lost count of how many times I have tried to book a Mustang in Hawaii 6 months in advance and it says they are "Sold Out" only to check in a few weeks and you can easily book one.

I emailed them once and got a pretty boring response, they didn't care!

My point was that I couldnt understand how Hertz couldn't have any Mustangs in Hawaii for a 9 month period on pretty much any day.... :rolleyes:

You can book a corvette with points by either using your points for a Fun Collection vehicle. The actual category is Rental of any Fun or Green Vehicle

I don't see it noted - The ZHZ has a removable roof, so it is almost as convertible as the vert.

Yep and very nice to drive, especially when you get one brand new ;)

I don't see it noted either, and the fact it's sold out for the next 6 months bothers me...

It just Hertz managing their fleet during these "economic changes"

They are cutting prestige vehicles from a few locations from what I have seen

EG: The Audi Q7 won't be offered out of Denver after Winter
