Hertz questions
 
On the phone Hertz accepts our discount codes but not on line.

More importantly, the price for pick up of a compact at BOS Logan was $1,273 but only $ $899 in downtown Boston. I thought that the Big Dig was finished! Isn't that a huge difference? Thanks.

Before or after taxes? After it would make sense due to the excessive airport taxes in most cities.

I rent frequently in BOston and yes that is because of the airpot surcharges.

That is a VERY high rental rate. Is this for a month?

that does sound like a big difference ... and very expensive for a car that size. have you tried comparing to avis?

You have to keep in mind that having a Hertz location inside of an airport is very costly. The rental fee's that are paid to the aiport are outrageous! The base rate on a car picked up at an HLE is usually cheaper than one from the aiport.
