Which points?
 

As an informal poll, do you prefer to get points with Hertz, or do you use your hertz rental to get points with a prtner? It seems like it takes a lot longer to get rewards with Hertz than it does the hotels I stay with, and I was wondering if I might be better off putting those points somewhere else.

Dirt cheap weekend rentals -> Marriott points.

Any rental over about $70 total -> Hertz points.

During certain promotions, I'll opt for WN credits. I fly about twice a year on WN, but with Hertz promotions I manage to score about one free ticket on them before my credits expire.

I tend to use my Hertz points for 1-day standalone rentals. So I consider them somewhat valuable...about 7 cents per point.
