clean the windshield - THE INSIDE
 

I am so tired of getting to the hotel and cleaning the inside of the windshield. Hertz to me is notorius the filmy windshields. Do they ever clean them?

I doubt it, too much trouble to lean over the dash.

I couldn't agree more -- I sometimes rent Hertz cars that just have filthy inside glass. It's a particular problem if a car's been smoked in. And some of the worst offenders are brand new cars -- some Hertz stations seem to think that cars come perfectly clean from the factory, and that's not the case at all (if you can still see the assembly line suction cup marks on the windshield, it means it hasn't been cleaned properly).

Last month I had a Hertz rental that had dog nose prints on every window. Nothing but smears! Buy some Windex already!! :td:

Or you get their foot print or smoke film build-up yech...

I'm just happy to have the outside cleaned.

A dirty center console/cup holders are another big peeve of mine.
