That's good going on the YF upgrades.
I have a reservation out of SEA in a month for a minivan - I've never needed a minivan before so I have never really paid attention. Do you happen to remember what was on the lot?

Received D - 2016 new shape Kia Optima 3. Amazing car for a group D, fully loaded, and very large and comfortable. Either the car is much less economical than the trip computer reported or it took about 9 extra litres of fuel when I returned it though.

Sounds about right, given that I picked the car up on 'F' with a 600 mile range, and returned it with a 700 mile range...
(And 'F' is basically an auto 'D' though occasionally some weird cars venture into the group because they have nowhere else to go - Audi A3 springs to mind).

Better than expected, as the press has basically slated these as an overgrown Polo. Loads of space, as slow as a 95 hp car with a five speed box should be when those gears are more like 2nd to 6th, but well equipped, handled nicely (though it doesn't ride as well as a Golf), and felt more solid than it looked except for the very light and flimsy doors.
(Should have booked these last two as one rental if I'd planned ahead)
