Just curious, why is hertz.com more expensive than hertz.de ? i was looking for a rental car in italy and clicked through ryanair.com website, and for the same dates etc i looked up hertz.com and its about $150.00 more? any thoughts?

Although I'm not sure why it is - there have often been reported cases that your country of origin factors into the rental car prices. I've heard that if you use the D005297 code (with Avis) & put your country of residence down as Estonia, it's way cheaper. I don't know why that is - but maybe because of inherent risk factors?
