NeverLost, NOT AVAILABLE IN MUSTANG?
 

Just tried to reserve a Mustang in Los Angeles from LAX in Dec and was told that NeverLost is not available in that type of car??? Could anyone here confirm this!

I believe you were told correctly. I've never been able to reserve a Mustang with NL.

Yep. Neverlost is not available on the Mustang. Sad but true.

I'm hoping that Hertz makes it available on the 2005 models but won't be concerned about it if it is not.

Just got onto dispatch @ LAX who told me that some mustangs have NeverLost but the convertibles definitely don't have. Could anyone comment on weather they've rented a mustang with NL or heard anything like this before?

It shouldn't be too surprising -- Neverlost is designed primarily as a tool for people on business travel, and given that convertibles are usually priced well above what a corporate travel and expense managers would consider appropriate for a car rental, it's not likely convertibles would get Neverlost equipment.

I've had neverlost in a mustang convertable. I rented it in Chicago (Union Station) in November. Needless to say, it didn't 'convert' on that trip. It was also a few years back.

I suppose I was only going to find out at the rental location....TA TA! Just picked up a MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE WITH NEVERLOST!!!

So officially, here is living proof that you can get Mustangs ...with NeverLost....even in CONVERTIBLES!!!.
