AA_SPG_Fan,

Would you be so kind as to share your CDP for the 30% discount, Olivetti's CDP of 706900 gave me the 20%, but another 10% would rock!

Thanks in advance!

what's Olivetti's CDP of 706900?

20% off sounds good enough for me!

When you use Olivetti's CDP of 706900( looks like a travel partner club, but I don't know what it really is), do you need to show something to the agent or they never question that? Thanks.

Dunno. Never asked me for ID for any of my AAA or corporate CDP's

This thread indicates that they may ask for ID - however, if you've got the Gold Service, will it really matter? This CDP is better than most from what I've seen. Anyone want to try it out & let us know?

Editted to add - I tried calling a friend who works for Hertz, but she wasn't available - I didn't want to leave a message for her at her location, but I'll try to get in touch with her later & see what I can find out about this particular code - it saves a few bucks here & there (saved 8 euro's on a rental at ROM), but if its a tough one to use, I'd rather pay the few extra bucks & not have to deal with the hassle - of course, with #1 Gold service, it shouldn't really be a problem I imagine.

Doesn't seem to work for CLT (tried weekend this month and in Feb.) or DFW (tried for weekend in March).

Thanks for the free day -- that makes weekend rentals a snap!

Sadly, it doesn't work for the SUV I want to rent to go up to Tahoe this weekend...

Surprisingly, after I posted this, the code started working for both CLT and DFW. Doesn't seem to work if you attempt to modify an existing reservation, but works when you start a new reservation. I'm wondering if Shadow007 works for Hertz or if there is a Hertz lurker out there.

In any event, a free weekend day on a minimum 2-day rental is superb! I canceled 3 Alamo rentals and re-booked with Hertz since I was able to get a far better deal. Thanks Shadow007!

do ANY coupon codes work for weekend SUV rentals? Most codes only allow usage up to full size or "Premium" cars.

Worked fine in TYS, but doesn't seem to work in LAS at all for the dates I tried in January.

These are as good as I could find for SUV rentals - and the first, a Citibank offer, only works in Florida through the end of the month. The second offer is from the Hertz website.

--------
http://offers.hertz.com/citidiscount04/index.html

And January rentals in Florida can save you even more -- $8 per day, up to $40 off the minimum two-day daily, weekly or weekend rental of a Premium or higher class vehicle. PC# 959641

The Citibank CDP is 160005 and was only giving a 5% discount a sample SUV rental I tried.

Now through March 31, 2005, you can Earn 350 Bonus Miles/Points (Double Credit on AirTran and Southwest) and Save $5 per day on qualifying Leisure Weekend Rate rentals of two or more days (Save $20 on qualifying Leisure Weekly Rate rentals). This offer is valid on rentals of any car class at a participating location in the U.S., Puerto Rico or Canada.

To reserve this offer offline, call your Travel Agent, or Hertz directly at 1-800-654-2210 in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, or 1-800-263-0600 in Canada. Or call your local Hertz office. At the time of reservation, you must provide your frequent traveler number, frequent traveler discount CDP number and PC #947940 for 350 Bonus Miles/Points and $5 Off Per Day on Leisure Weekend Rate rentals, or PC #947962 for 350 Bonus Miles/Points and $20 Off Leisure Weekly Rate rentals.

Got any valid CDP's or PC's for a 3 day rental in Germany?. Can't seem to find anything more than the airline discount.

Does anyone know of a promo code that works when renting an SUV?

Sorry to break the bubble, but I don't work for Hertz. Just one of those frequent travelers out there who has been using the site for a couple of years now to my advantage with almost nothing to give back as far as new codes/programs. This one popped up in a President's Circle email that I recieved and hadn't seen it in any of the posts, so i saw it as my opportunity to give back. Thanks everybody for those coupon codes and keep 'em coming!
