Got "AAA HEADQUARTERS". That one may attract more attention than the others. I got the same rate for MCI as my "correct" AAA code.

There was a email 1Ks got that if you were a 1K you got automatic gold 5*

Theres a FT thread somewhere in the United forum, can't find it now.

Problem is Hertz is not good to us underage ones. I can get a lot lower quote with national or enterprise for the same car. Paying 150$ more for 4 days to rent with hertz just cause I got the status is not really worth it. Thats why I'm looking for some coupon code or something to cut down on the underage fee. I see that the American Bar Association waives the underage, but would they ask for membership?

Extended to February 9. Quite useful if you drive enough to use up the entire tank especially on weekdays when it's hard to find a discount on 3 day rentals.

Here's a new $40 off weekly "collections" rentals:

http://offers.hertzgold.com/offer.aspx?offerid=884

These combined with some of the CDPs (AAA and Travel Partners in particular) often make for very affordable rates on the "green" collection. Not quite as good as the $50 one last fall, but still a good deal.

CDP + PC = worse than CDP by itself?

Hi,
I saw some posts here that list PC codes. When I combine them with Car & Driver CDP (1757580), the rates seem worse than without the PC codes. Am I missing something?

I'm looking to reserve an SUV at SFO (Thurs-Mon). Any good PC codes?

Sorry PDB, I haven't checked this thread in a while. I use it mainly with the AAA CDP.

Are there any good 1-way (airport to HLE) coupons out there that DON'T exclude the NYC metro? I have been trying tons of them, but as of yet, nothing...

I am a noob and I need your help

As title is saying I am a noob and I read a bit the thread but could not find the answer:

If I sign up for the Herts #1 Gold through this link do I get charged?

Is it free for first year, or free "forever"?
They do force me to add a credit card and I would prefer not to be hit with a 60$ charge.

Thanks a lot for your insight.

Little

P.S. I booked through hotwire a rate for 7 days that was lower by 40% than the best rate I could find with coupons on this thread: 10% discount through AAA and 25$ off a weekend rate (saved an additional 100$). The bad thing is that you do not know what you get before they give it to you, but Hertz was the cheapest I could find so I expected it to be the "seller".
Hope this helps

Do they not charge the fee for the enrollment for the first year and get you the next year, or it is free "forever".

Thanks in advance for the answer
