Odd, seems to be working just fine for me now as well, looks like I just needed to logout then log in. Was trying it for many weekends in December from TUS and now I'm having no trouble at all. Thanks for the double check though.

I wanted to put info here for a code that came up in the "Switch Drop Off" thread http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=8806660 because it appears these haven't been mentioned here.

PC# 112066 or 111860 gives a bonus of 1800 ZE1 points for a weekly rental. There appear to be no class restrictions; I rented C/midsize. Expires 1/31/08. It's not clear if you can only use it once; I may try to use it again. But I returned my weekly on Tuesday morning, and 1958 additional points were in my account this morning. I had no trouble combining with CDP 706900 for my rental dates over Thanksgiving weekend. The terms do say valid for participating US/Canada corporate and licensee locations except NY Metro and blackout dates may apply. My first tip to the offer was the above referenced other thread. I am plain Gold and used 112066, which is this first link. My HLE did not care to collect a paper copy of the offer, but it doesn't hurt to have it just in case.

I used a Birthday PC numerous times, in the past, with 1-day rentals at HLEs; however, I now kept getting a message that the 1-day rentals (as well as 2-day and 3-day rentals) did not comply with the terms and conditions of the PC.

Out of curiosity, I kept changing the dates and discovered that eventually (i.e. after repeatedly putting in different days and then shortening the period) a 1-day W/E rental was accepted. Finally gottem.

Perhaps this is a computer glitch.

I don't understand why Hertz has tons of repetitive coupons. Maybe someone can explain it. It took me over 2 hours to go through all the codes to make sure my list does not repeat itself.

Strange, indeed.
An annoying aspect of these Collection vouchers is that applying them often causes weekly rates to go up dramatically in conjunction with Amex Centurion or AAA CDPs, especially if you combine the latter with the HFC1 and HPC1 rate codes. So for most Collection cars it's cheaper not to apply the $50 voucher.
