I was just able to combine the quad credit witht the FIFTY code for a weekend Midsize SUV rental at HLE in Durham, NC! New to FT, thanks for the hospitality and all the great info!

Have to say, the difference in the way some CDPs work really saved me a lot the other day. I wanted to rent a car for one day, pick up Thursday evening return Friday evening. Put in AAA CDP, rate was I think around 60 bucks for C. Put in USAA CDP, rate was $20! Turns out that I could possibly (maybe) get weekend rate with AAA if I kept for 2 days, even picking up on Thurs. But a Thurs to Fri keep for one day was fully considered a weekend day when using the USAA CDP. Amazing difference. (The CDP to try in this case is 77694.)

Any one have any codes for picking the car up on a Wed. and returning on Sat. Neither the weekly or the weekend rates would work.

I (and I believe many others here) think that getting WN credits is a better value than getting other airline miles... You can do the math as to what you consider to be the value of 1/2 WN credit (the minimum you can get with a Hertz rental) vs. 500 other airline miles... Multiply by 32, and you've got a free WN trip (which I think can still be used as 2 one-ways - and at the last minute without friggin' expedite fees). As you can see on this thread, there are often Hertz codes to get you more than the standard 1/2 credit for WN.

Best so far is the Amex code for free day.
Anyone know of any better.
(I would actually prefer to fly into SNA and our LAX, but it make car twice as much, so if you know any codes that help on a one way convertible that would help too.)
