Presidents Circle Qualification

Always had PC with my United Visa card but with that going away this year, looking at other options. I saw this year is 30 rentals or $3,000 to qualify. I assume the $3,000 total is rental fees only and does not include location fees, surcharges, taxes, etc? Is there somewhere on the Hertz website that tracks status or do I just have to add up the rental $ manually from statements? (Looked but can't find it...)

No where I tracks spend, I roughed it guessing when I'd cross over just off rental fee excluding taxes and got it right when i ticked over.

Don't want to start new tread. Received email being promoted to PC. What? Maybe one Hertz rental past two years. Presidents Club with Avis, EE National.

The requirement for President's Circle is only 15 rentals (or $3K) per calendar year.

I wonder how many platinum card holders use Hertz and how this will impact existing PC members.

The effect might not be as much as you think. You could already take the Hilton Gold from the Platinum card and status match to National's top tier, then status match to PC.

Status matching works only once, the next year you have to earn the status like everyone else.
Most customers don't bother / don't know it is an option, especially if they earned their original status passively with business travel
So, the effect will be big.

Looks I used the wrong search terms because I wasn't able to find the answer to a question I believe was asked and discussed many times Sorry for that.
If I rent a Hertz car 12/31-1/1, does it count towards this or next year's PC qualification? Yes, I'm one of the few who need to actually rent and do not get it through my Amex Platinum or anywhere else (based in Germany).

This year. I've both been in this situation plus contacted Hertz and that was both the answer and the outcome. Notice how your points always get posted to the date of pickup, also.
