After completing 20 rentals how long does it take for your status to change from 5 star to presidents club?

It takes until the end of the monthly cycle which depends on when you joined, so could be different for each person. It could be as short as 1 day and as long as 31 days. If you look at your last Hertz Gold Rewards statement date you'll probably be able to get pretty close to when your status will change as it should be roughly 30 days from that point.
