All Points gone - just me or a wide spread glitch?

All Points gone - just me or a wide spread glitch?

Noticed yesterday that my points balance went from 6500ish to 0 overnight. I'm guessing it's a glitch since it doesn't seem like my account was hacked, but I still feel uneasy. Anyone else had this happen?

When you look at account activity, what does it show? I'd call in if I were you. Our family accounts continue to show the balances I would expect.

No subtractions, all bussines as usual. I emailed Customer service yesterday morning though I haven't heard back yet. I'm not really planning to use the points soon, but it's just not nice to see all of them gone.

Yes my point balance is zero as well. Hertz said that it is a system issue

At least I'm not alone...
Their Twitter team said it was a system issue. Hopefully it gets fixed sooner rather than later.

Same here. All points gone. The rental from a week ago has not posted either.

My points total is still present. It appears that this not an issue affecting all Hertz members. Out of curiosity, what Hertz status are those who are affected?

I have it aswell since last week when i changed from gold back to 5star. 0 points. Still not updated. Really frustrating always. Their site is utterly useless sometimes.

​​​Status carried over correctly though so that's something.
For anyone interested, they said award redemptions were still possible, though only over the phone and after booking the desired rental with cash while logged in. Seems like the back end system is functional, otherwise they wouldn't be able to track anything.
They said the system issue made some accounts inactive, so that probably explains why new rentals aren't posting either.

Interesting. So this issue isn't dependent on the level of Gold status. I suppose I can count on my lucky stars that my account wasn't affected. Hopefully all will be back to normal in a few days.

5 star here, and all is well with points and a rental from a few weeks ago posting fine. Hope it clears fast for those screwed by the outage.
