Hertz Tenerife - anyone rented there?
Hi,
Has anyone rented from Hertz in Tenerife? Reviews on Google are a bit mixed. I guess Hertz PC wouldn't mean anything as it's not a corporate location?

I've rented a Citroen Berlingo there, no real complaints, don't expect any special treatment. Wait time was substantial but not as bad as some of the other rental companies. I rented a Citroen Xsara Picasso at TFS in 2016 at Europcar (I believe) and was given a car that was over 10 years old and had driven over 120.000 km - in comparison the Berlingo wasn't half bad

Any recent experiences renting from Tenerife South airport with Hertz? I'm President's Circle and considering a rental in November.

Here is my detailed review of August 2020 rental from Hertz gran Canaria - this is just one island over,operated by the same franchise company.
President's Circle benefits do not apply, and Hertz points are not awarded (unlike for the rentals in mainland Spain)

At least this is better than the world's worst car rental company Goldcar (at FNC with the world's worst agent the infamous Monica). Google and wonder.

Yes I've rented many times from both airports, north and south Tenerife as Hertz Platinum. Not that they have Platinum service as these are concessionaire facilities. But I've had no problems. You can't expect a Mercedes upgrade, but I do get upgrades.
