Nothing to write home about on Sunday night. Gold had the usual sedans, Five Star had a Pacifica Limited and Ram 1500 Classic with the usual sedans and small SUVs, and PC had a few Impalas, 4Runners, another Ram 1500 Classic, and more garden variety stuff.

Upgrades were a Jaguar F-Pace and Mercedes C300 Cabriolet.

PIT on Friday night had a half-dozen Chrysler 300 S, several Ford Tauruses, and two Impala Premiers in PC. Didn't see anything interesting in FS or Gold.

Volvo S90 was on the lot as an upgrade.

Not a lot happening late Sunday night at PIT. A couple Fusions, Impalas, Ram 1500 Classic and a new Ram 1500 in base trim were the only decent picks.

The lot at PIT was almost completely empty this afternoon and they even had a sign at the end of the Gold section saying Gold was closed. My guess is that they were redirecting those people to FS or PC but you never know with Hertz.

I'm renting from PIT in January 2020, but need a car with 4 wheel drive (due to potential snow).

I've got a GMC Yukon booked, but the Hertz website doesn't specifically show whether it's 2 or 4WD - FT seems to suggest it's a 2WD base version.

Can anyone advise?

I wouldn't worry about it. There's no way to predict the weather this far in advance. A modern SUV is going to perform well in snow even with RWD, as will most modern cars generally with 2WD. Unless you're going off road you'll be fine.

While I've never visited Grove City, I'm told it's not too off-road

Not much going on late Thursday night. PC and Five Star had two 300 S, a base trim Charger, base trim Explorer and Sorento, and not much else. Upgrades were a BMW 5 Series and Cadillac Escalade.

There was a Charger R/T Hemi in PC late Wednesday night. Other than that, usual Hertz fare with a couple 300 S mixed in.

If you were renting from PIT in the late morning today, you were in for a treat. PC had not one but two red Camaro SSes, a BMW 530i, and a Cadillac XTS.

The rest of the lot was almost bare except for a 300 S in PC and a Dodge Grand Caravan in Five Star. They were still holding a Range Rover for upgrades but if the situation got more dire I imagine they would've put that in PC too.

I thought about using points for a rental I didn't need just to get a Camaro from PC, but the website said PIT was sold out, which explains the situation.

There were literally two cars on the UC lot at one point Wednesday - a Ford Fiesta and a Nissan Maxima. Upgrades were a Mercedes A220 and a Jaguar F-Pace. There were a bunch of reservations on the board so I don't know when they were planning to pull more cars.

PIT was fully stocked with the usual nondescript sedans and SUVs early Saturday morning. The only ones of note were a Grand Cherokee Limited In Five Star and a base trim Camaro in PC, plus a couple 300Ses.

Saturday morning: First time renting from PIT as a 5*, got a Impala Premier which I was fairly pleased with. Other cars of note were two RAM 1500 trucks in 5* and a Dodge Charger and a Jeep Grand Cherokee in PC. Upgrades were a BMW 5 Series and an Escalade.

Does PIT have a specific counter for gold plus member at parking lot? Or do I have to go to the main counter for questions? Thanks a lot.
