I found a new CDP number for Mastercard CC users (CDP 795092):

https://www.hertz.ca/rentacar/specia...e-enjoy-10-off

This seems to be available in certain continent regions if you access Hertz through them (ie. Europeean countries). With that said, I did try to reserve a vehicle using a non-American country based Hertz website and successfully reserved it under my account. The kicker was, it was way cheaper than going through the N. American Hertz site. I did experiment a bit more and noticed depending on what country you chose, some rates were cheaper than others...UK vs Belgium...anyone notice this? Seems kind of unfair for N American clients to be charged an arm and a leg for the same reservation made under the European Hertz website...

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask this... I just got my Amex Platinum card. UK based. Which CDP am I supposed to use: 211762 or 633306?

It doesn't really matter but 633306 is the code for EMEA members while 211762 is for US members. Usually they both give the same discount, but you can use whichever one suits you.

Thanks, that's what I thought too, glad to see it confirmed. I guess UK is still in EMEA, right? I've actually got different discounts using both on at least one rental, mind you! (EMEA was slightly lower in this case)

Do Hertz local locations in the US check for AX Centurion cards at the time of rental when using the Centurion CDP?

The rate is good up to 10% availability so if it was a busy period the rate might not show up. I just checked several different weeks in the next 3 months and it seems to be available for all the dates I checked.

Any current PC codes that work with this CDP?

However looking up rates with it now it states:

You may be required to provide proof that you qualify for the discount code (CDP) when you collect the vehicle. Please refer to the terms of the offer for further information.

It never said that before on the webste. Anyone any experience with it and knows if they now actually actively check if you have one or not?
I've used the AMEX CDP's on over 50 rentals and not been asked once.

211762 is also the AMEX AU code I think. I find 211762 often returns slightly better pricing than 633306. I use both and check against each for every rental I do.

Without clogging up the thread, see here for a strange issue I'm getting at the moment for rentals in April: Hertz oddity in prices at LGW

I've been using this code / coupon every week.. one issue I've found is that even though the PC shows up correctly in the reservation, when you return the car it's only deducting $5 x 1 even if you have had the car for 2 or 3 days. Check your receipt and get it adjusted if necessary.

I've also been including this in my survey response but so far they haven't fixed it.

Ron.

National Exec Elite vs Hertz

Good Morning, I have met my required rentals for my National Exec Elite for 2019 and thought I would try Hertz for the remaining year. I am Plat Titanium with Marriott, AAA member and United Gold. Do any of these membership give me benefits? Is it worth trying for 4 months? If so, what CDP and PC should I use? Thank you in advance. My upcoming rentals are at MCO 09/09/2019 - 09/13/2019, JHM 9/21/19-09-28/2019, OGG 09/28/2019 - 10/02/2019, etc. thank you In advance

You can apply for mid-tier Hertz 5 Star status as a benefit of your Bonvoy or MileagePlus status. You can also apply for a status match to President's Circle using your Executive Elite status: https://offer.hertz.com/offers/index...tatusMatch.jsp

MCO and OGG are Ultimate Choice locations; JHM isn't.

Ultimate Choice is somewhat like Emerald Aisle; please see Questions/Discussion About Hertz Ultimate Choice Service

JHM will be just the base 5 Star benefits as described in the Hertz link above.

The CDP for your local AAA Club is always a decent place to start when pricing rentals.

I don't see that you can use Marriott Bonvoy as a status match. It says only another rental car agency.

That's because I didn't provide a link to the Bonvoy/Hertz status match (which is real and existing). If one is looking for such a link, it can easily be found on FlyerTalk or on other websites by simply searching for it.
