Mod note - As of 7/25/2018: We've had quite a few "Hey, come use this CDP. It's great" type of posts. When the CDP doesn't give a good discount, but is only posted to try to get renters to use the CDP of someone so the poster can earn perks from their Hertz Corporate account. From here out, please put the company/trade group/etc that's associated with the CDP or we'll delete the post to keep it on-topic here

NOTE: CDPs provided because Hertz or entity publicly links to them (source links provided next to each CDP). DO NOT list corporate codes or list a CDP without public source link

Question

Hi! I found a great CV code online that worked for an upcoming rental, but I'm nervous that they will ask for some kind of proof when I get there. These are supposedly convention codes. Does anyone know anything about them?

If it helps anyone, the code is 022Q9225 and dropped by raite by about $50 once takes were lower and all too.

Thanks.

I regularly use my CDP with PC codes. There are some PC codes that will not stack with it, but most will. I'm trying a CV code for the first time right now and have a question I just posted asking about it. I was able to combine the CV with my CDP. Did not try a PC with it as well.

I have an Oracle CDP code from back in the day, it still works. Question is what are the chances they check for ID at Non-Airport locations?

When I used to travel as consultant for them ID never got checked at airport locations. This is first time I am renting from a non-airport location so wondering chances of success here? Benefit is like 300$ cheaper than regular rate.

So, your question is basically "I'm thinking about defrauding Hertz. How likely am I to get caught?"

A vast majority of the coupon and discount codes on this site are shared and utilized by individuals that are not associated with the group/company/organization for which the code is intended. "Defrauding" is a bit of a stretch here...

Totally disagree. The codes listed are publicly available, or at least available to a broad swathe of the site's readers. This is a specific company code for which the poster knows for a fact he no longer qualifies. Not a grey area in any way, shape, or form.

Yeah it might work. But don't expect any leniency in case something goes wrong.

See this thread for reference:

As the above posts were discussing CDP use, I moved it to the correct thread.

Hi, does anyone have a good code for pickup and dropoff BOS airport 04/06/19 at 7am to 04/09/19 at 4:30pm? The best I can get is $113 with Avis via CostcoTravel

I would say your chances are slim to none that they ask for any form of id besides a drivers license and credit card. Half the time they don't even ask me for those. The people working at these locations probably see 100 different discount codes a day and probably don't even check what they are. Kind of like reserving a hotel room with a AAA discount. In 100 different stays around the country, I have been asked to provide the card exactly once.

Wow, that is a great CV 022Q9225 code. Lowered my Hawaii trip by $300 for a 5 day trip. Now can we use it?

Higher Rates with PC code? PC Applied: 203968

I booked a rental for a HLE. In looking at the Hertz website, I saw buy 6 get one free. Total price for the 7 days $199 for intermediate size.

I looked without the PC coupon, and it was $185. SAME EVERYTHING. How does that happen?

I used the standard AMEX code as my discount code for both rentals.

Found the same issue when going for the $5 per day off weekend rentals

Different combinations of CDP and PC codes can yield different results. Hertz’s system is screwy in that way. The only real way to find the best possible deal is to try every possible or combination and see what yields the lowest total price. Then again you can save yourself the bother and have AutoSlash do the work.
