Mod note - As of 7/25/2018: We've had quite a few "Hey, come use this CDP. It's great" type of posts. When the CDP doesn't give a good discount, but is only posted to try to get renters to use the CDP of someone so the poster can earn perks from their Hertz Corporate account. From here out, please put the company/trade group/etc that's associated with the CDP or we'll delete the post to keep it on-topic here

No, the ABN Hertz CDP does not waive the underage fee. The AAA and USAA CDPs do though. That said, due to the current COVID-19 situation, Hertz is waiving the underage fee for all drivers until May 31. More information can be found below:

Even though the quote doesn't include the underage fee i might get charged for it when taking out the car?

You won't get charged for it if you rent by May 31st (if renting in the US) as per the blog post we linked to.

Future of the Existing IBM CDP Code?

Hello, I was told today at the counter that as of 9/15 this code will no longer be accepted. I asked if there was a new IBM code, and she said to "check with your gold desk". Anyone know what's up with this?

As an employee, isn't there an IBM portal for use? Why not use that?

It doesn't help that their code gets published on the interweb like these. Some locations have been asking for ID cards for a while now. Looks like Hertz will be clamming down on the abuse of this CDP.

And why would you be asking the Hertz counter person about your own corp's code? Your own internal travel department would've distributed this news months ago. Check the home page of the OTR.

I just tried to make a reservation using the code and it came up as non-affiliated discount code. It always came up IBM Corporation need to look into this further

Glad to be of service. You can always book the prepaid and the best pay-later rate and then cancel a couple of days beforehand depending on what works best. Our prepaid rates are fully cancelable up to 48 hours before pickup.

Any word which company they switched to?

It's very surprising news that they dropped Hertz. They've been one of Hertz's largest customers since at least the 1970s.
