Mod note - As of 7/25/2018: We've had quite a few "Hey, come use this CDP. It's great" type of posts. When the CDP doesn't give a good discount, but is only posted to try to get renters to use the CDP of someone so the poster can earn perks from their Hertz Corporate account. From here out, please put the company/trade group/etc that's associated with the CDP or we'll delete the post to keep it on-topic here

I have not, but it states that it is included here: https://www.hertz.com/rentacar/renta...A2ratesintheUS
It only works when booking from outside the US. Ex-US rates often include LDW and/or LIS but they are technically not available to US residents.

It doesn't matter who the driver is; what matters is who the renter is.

I am a US resident and currently traveling abroad. When I go to Hertz' website this rate code shows up in the deals section and nothing in the T&C's states it is ineligible for US residents. Now surely, I am not saying you are incorrect (Hertz may have left it out of the T&C's thinking only non-US people would see it). But that would be quite misleading... as I say, I am abroad now, need a car rental upon my return and went to their website to book. And here in their deals section I see the offer (and so I booked a car with it). Plus I'm logged in (so they know I'm a US resident with a US address and US cc). I'd be pretty livid if something happened only to find out I am not eligible for it, even though they don't tell me so.

On another note... Cyber Sale CDP is 2115632. Didn't see any good offers, but will leave it here for others in case they find some.

Most likely, you won't be challenged, but we've seen numerous instances where Avis/Budget US residents that had made bookings for a US pickup location while abroad that included LDW were denied at the rental counter and made to pay the walk-up rate.

Couldn't you just use a different CPD at that time?

Corporate CDP

Has anyone ever been asked to show a business card or an employee ID when booking a corporate rate?

Yes, and YMMV.

If you can’t provide the proper credentials for the rate you’ve booked, you risk having your rate changed to the full walk-up rate at that time, among other potential consequences. 🤙🏻🍹

My spouse is a city employee. Does the CDP for "GOVT EMPLOYEES MARKETPLACE" include municipal employees? There's so little information about this CDP. I'm able to book with the CDP, but wasn't sure if it's restricted to just Federal employees or military.

This worked for me at BWI tofay! I’m a Gold Member so all I did find my car and left. Dropped the price from $141 to around $44! Thank you!

Anyone else use this? I'm a bit nervous and have another discount but RCA saves me another $200

I don't rent often, but I think the odds of this happening are very slim IF you are a rewards member and bypass the desk. I really doubt the gate attendant is going to care, much less bother to check.

old post but I tested that CDP and it shows as working. I looked up the organization and it looks like it is now defunct but the CDP does work. The linked in page is still up and say GOV and Employees of Non Profits. I suppose you could say you volunteer at a non profit.
