Mod note - As of 7/25/2018: We've had quite a few "Hey, come use this CDP. It's great" type of posts. When the CDP doesn't give a good discount, but is only posted to try to get renters to use the CDP of someone so the poster can earn perks from their Hertz Corporate account. From here out, please put the company/trade group/etc that's associated with the CDP or we'll delete the post to keep it on-topic here

Sounds like Hertz Italy trying to cancel as many lower cost rentals as they can due to shortages so they can drive the rental rates higher.

Have you done the rental yet? I've tried booking one as well and its also cut my price in half...Wondering what happens...I've got a second card booked as a just in case....

As long as youíre authorized to use a CDP, I wouldnít worry about the rate if itís guaranteed. If itís not guaranteed you could have an issue should it change, or if youíre not authorized to use the CDP enjoy rolling the dice. 🙌🏻

We can certainly check. If you reply here with your inquiry id from the bottom of your quote email or PM us with it we can see if we can find availability of that vehicle class.

Kudos to Autoslash - thanks to them I was able to save $123 on a nine-day rental in late August of a "specialty" Hertz vehicle (FIAT 595 Abarth) in Milan. Went from $732 with the Platinum Amex CDP to $609.

Hello...not exactly sure where to post this. I accidently entered my zip code (92677) under the CDP # on the app. This generated a company called Schlumberger Wireline which significantly reduced the price of a rental in SEA.

The question is will I be asked for proof I work for the company or anything? I'm GOLD so should go directly to the car.

THANKS of any thoughts!!

Mark

You may. The risk you run is being charged the full market rate at time of pickup.

Thank you. Yeah, reading through the thread I got a sense of exactly the risk you take. I kind of had no idea. Probably will pass on this offer.

Hello, can everyone still use code 211762 Amex platinum? I heard that Hertz updated the terms&conditions. It says: reservations made with a corporate account are for exclusively by its eligible renters. Is this a corporate code or a promotional code?
I get a little anxious te make a reservation. National has now comparable terms since Oct 1.

I've been using 633306 for Amex Plat and that hasn't given me any issue. The most recent rental using this CDP was 9/18/2021.

I've never been asked to show it, but I do have it anyway.

I just priced a rental with a corporate discount code and it asked for a valid email address for that corporation and wouldn't continue without it. Not sure what to make of it, it doesn't seem likely that they have the resources to check these kinds of things, but if not, why bother with asking for it?
