Mod note - As of 7/25/2018: We've had quite a few "Hey, come use this CDP. It's great" type of posts. When the CDP doesn't give a good discount, but is only posted to try to get renters to use the CDP of someone so the poster can earn perks from their Hertz Corporate account. From here out, please put the company/trade group/etc that's associated with the CDP or we'll delete the post to keep it on-topic here

Hello everyone! Has anyone have any luck with CHABAD CDP code (1221692)? Been struggling trying to find a decent rate for a upcoming weekend rental at PDX (4/2 - 4/5).

Will there be any issues for using for using USAA code?

Hi
Iíve booked a car at pickup location , as I found the USAA code , I got a discount so I continued processing the reservation. Will be questioned or asked to show proof on pickup location?
Has anyone used this ?

or any good recommendations

Thanks you

This has been discussed in the main CDP thread.

It’s possible that you are asked to provide proof that you are eligible to utilize a CDP. It all depends on the Hertz facility / employee doing their job. What you risk is Hertz removing the CDP and charging you the current market rate for the contract as booked in the moment. It is fraud, but the largest potential consequence for a single instance is that Hertz may charge you the full retail rate for the rental. Repeated abuse of a CDP could be an issue that Hertz takes more seriously if they pursue.

Is it worth the risk? Only you can decide.

I went ahead and merged the OP's question with the consolidated CDP thread.

Thanks

Anyone ever used CDP code 1859906 (GOVT Marketplace)? I work for a government entity and was wondering if all I need to show is my ID badge at the checkout gate? Have an upcoming trip to Hawaii and this code saved me $600 for the week.

Are you eligible to use the code / what are the CDPs T&Cís (eg your entity and employment is covered, the code is eligible for the purpose of your trip etc)?

It all depends on if the Hertz employee does their job and verifies eligibility, and given that youíre saving $600 on a rental and Hertz is hurting for cash I hope they are enforcing eligibility on CDPs.

The only data points/experiences with people using the code were from 5-10 years (see this thread Hertz Discount available to public and non-profit employees). From what I’m understanding (I don’t want to disclose my employer) that anyone who works for a state/local government or public sector (which I do) can use this code and is eligible to use on leisure trips. I couldn’t find the full T&C’s and was hoping that someone has had recent experience using this specific CDP code. I will have my ID badge with me to prove it if necessary.

It sounds like youíll be fine. You can always try calling or emailing Hertz PC support to see if they can pull up the T&Cs for you.
