Unfortunately, the F-Pace didn't have either of those so navigation had to be entirely off of my phone.

How does "Skip the Counter" work at Hertz Seattle Airport? I'm a gold member, and I've input my driver license and insurance information during booking. But this is my first time renting from Hertz. Thanks!

Hi Xavi,

Yes, you can head directly to the parking lot when you arrive at the car rental facility. Pick the car that has been assigned to you or choose any other one in the category you reserved (Compact/SUV/Premium...) or in your membership level lot (Gold, Five Star, PC).

Hello,

I rented from Hertz @ SEA from Nov 18th to Nov 30th. Booked a fullsize SUV (T), I got assigned a Chevy Tahoe.
Very poor choice on Five Star / PC lots, the Tahoe was the best option I could go with, IMO. 14k on the odometer, very comfy and powerful thanks to the V8 engine, and a reasonable 18 mpg for 1800 miles overall.

Saturday 25th January 2020 around 5:30 pm, very quiet, I was the only one there for a while before two other renters came.

PC:
I didn't check it properly but I seem to remember there being a mustang of some sorts - though after 13 hours of flying (and one stopover between) I wouldn't vouch for it anymore. Otherwise I remember it having mostly sedans, there might have been an odd SUV as well. There also was an MB CLA.

5* I didn't check at all.

Premier section had mostly BMW's and an odd Range Rover.

Gold:
Sedans (2 Chrysler 300 with S logo in the front seats, both with around 30k miles on them - are they premium class vehicle?) and some minivans, which I quickly turned down. There were also at least 2 Silverados and one Dodge RAM 2500. I was about to take the Ram but then noticed there was a dodge charger GT (in Arizona's plates) in the full size section, which I took. What class is that car in normally?

Full size section continued with pretty much the same as in the gold section. Surprisingly many minivans overall.

From receipts on past rentals, appears Charger GT is F (FCAR / Full Size), R/T is F6 (I think that's "Full Size Special" or something)

Friday 31st January around 4.30pm

Quite many cars in PC / Gold (didn't check 5*) but most (if not all) were sedans. In PC there was one SUV as well but didn't check properly what it was. Full size section was also full of sedans.

Gold was full of Nissans and KIAs, odd Ford Taurus was there. When I came, someone just drove away in a Ford. No pickups like on 25th. Single SUV - For EcoSport (or what ever the tiny SUV was called..). Took a 2019 Chevy Impala Premier (class G) which had sat nav and wifi

Any other reports since the pandemic started? I will likely be out there with my family next month, 5 total, and would really like a Minivan. I am 5*, and it looks like there were Grand Caravans available in the gold section before the pandemic started.

Sorry, there may have been in Gold section but I was running short on time and couldn't document that section too.

Book a backup reservation at National/Avis if you absolutely must get a minivan.

I'm hoping to book on Hertz points as a one-way, so hoping to get it free. Guess I'll keep my fingers crossed. My company used to use National and I was always able to get a minivan for no additional charge at major airports. Hoping for the same with Hertz.

I definitely would not count on getting anything other than a sedan at any Hertz location right now. Minivans do pop up now and then, but it's nothing like it was 6 months ago.
