s there still an excess charge with collision waiver?

Does the collision damage waiver at LAX charge you an excess if you crash the car etc? Or will you walk away without paying anything?

I had zero deductible at LAX in March but as ever check your documentation.

In the US, there is usually no deductible for CDW. The exception is Alamo's $3,000 waiver saver, which excludes the first $3,000 in damage. In Europe, CDW typically excludes tires and windshield damage, and there is often a deductible, unless you buy a much more expensive supercover product.
