Highlight of my recent experience
Was perusing my credit card account online, my daily routine.
My final charge was in for last week's weekly rental. (DD turned it in for me later that day. It was an HLE and it was also my ride to the airport.) Drum Roll: $77.62 AI. Won't get many ZE points with that one! :D Car was Nissan Ultima, auto start, around 34k mileage. Before my flight, I was in the BNA USO half listening to a gentleman booking his upcoming car rental on the phone. Settled for Alamo. Couldn't help myself. I don't look back on my rental days with Alamo fondly. Told him I just booked ZE for a super rate. Advised him to check on line and look at the Discounts section. Wasn't interested. |
He probably didn't want to risk getting a car with 72,000 miles!
