Hertz PC issues!
 

I'm aware using different sites give different prices. Hertz.com and different then hertz.co.uk. But I have found a issue which is serious.

Using the same sites I go to book a car one day rental in Italy it's $80AUD . Then I log into my hertz gold number it goes up to $278€ for the exact same car . Same locations . Now thats a huge difference , so I checked other sites and it appears every time I log into my hertz gold rewards it triples the prices even with my pc discount.

The work around is I make the booking and then add my hertz gold number later but my concern is how long before I got onto this and who else is affected! :mad:

THis has been discussed many times before........ there is something in your profile which is causing this. It will be some combination of the various insurance and other optional services which are picked up from your profile, but not included in the base rate that is presented when you are not logged on.

As Red Scorpion correctly points out, the issue likely lies with CDPs associated with your profile. Suggest you take a look at this thread from April http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hertz...o-account.html which has some recommended avenues to pursue.
