Hertz Australia Fleet 2013
Since there has been plenty of questions regarding fleet for the Australian locations I thought I'd write up the list of the 2013 fleet purchases to give you some idea of how the fleet will look as the year develops. A quick note, not all fleet will be located in each state, more expect to see a selection of these models as the year continues.
This is not a full range of the Hertz Fleet, simply cars are being taken on this year. Thanks for the information, austgap!
I can't say I'm happy about the phasing out of real (i.e. RWD) cars though! No Falco-doores at all? :( Surely the Australian car industry is on its last legs, when even the rental companies stop buying the big Aussie cars. As someone who gets a cheap corporate rate on Compacts but not Intermediates, I like the looks of the Compact options. I haven't driven the new Corolla yet, but all the others are pretty good cars, and a vast improvement on the old Tiidas that I seem to get at Hertz at moment. Somewhere out there, an American is laughing at the idea that a Hyundai Santa Fe is a "large SUV". |
The mumbles I've heard is demand for the premium full size cars (XR6/SV6..etc) have fallen heavily and instead are being used mainly for upgrades, hence their removing them and instead focusing on the BMWs as the premium models on fleet.
Very much agree Jorgen the Tiida's are unremarkable and usually the last car I offer to any customer, the new Pulsar's are a huge step forward. |
any one has any updates to this list for 2014?
Does the BMWs comes with nav? |
