Additionally, you can save time by having AutoSlash generate a quote for you up-front by clicking here, or if you've already got a rental booked, just click here to enter your info and AutoSlash will check to see if a lower rate is available.

If you're looking for a specialty vehicle from Hertz (something from the Prestige/Adrenaline/Green Collections), it is helpful if you can specify the four-letter car size code (i.e. ICAR, MVAR, etc.) shown on the Hertz website for the specific vehicle you're looking for.

I'm usually pretty good at finding good deals - but this is my first time in Boston and the Rates are awful. I would have thought Boston in early winter would have been really cheap!

Pickup Location BOS
Dropoff Location BOS
Pickup Date and Time: 11/7/14 1pm
Return Date and Time: 11/11/14 3pm
Vehicle Size Preference: Intermediate or larger

Best Price you've found, Hertz or otherwise - $330 via Budget via Costco

Thanks for any tips!!

Using Costco's CDP for Hertz, Intermediate is:
53.66 USD Per Day (333.14 Approx. Tot.)

BUT... if you happen to be eligible for USAA's CDP ( Just need to be a US citizen ) and able to return at 1pm instead of 3pm, Intermediate is:
26.00 USD Weekend Day (166.41 Approx. Tot.)

If I don't have military affiliation is there a way to join USAA to be able to use their CDP?

EDIT:I was able to create an account and book the trip - saving over $100 - Thanks!!! (My only concern is that I will be taking the car back a couple of hours late - hope once I get the car that overage is like $10/hr,etc

I would check what the overage charges are. I noticed that if you book online with a return time later than 3pm, the price reverts back to $53/day for the entire rental. I'm not sure if they would reprice the entire rental though if you were to book it at the lower price and return the car a few hours late

Wow, I really need some help here.
I'm getting 320.92 USD Per Week (380.29 Approx. Tot.), so $53/day before tax using AAA's CDP # 5 for PAY NOW

As always, I do suggest using USAA's CDP # 77694 as it shows the best rate so far, 45.00 USD Per Day (319.95 Approx. Tot.)

Tough location, price doesn't changed a lot after trying over a dozen CDP's for you. The BEST so far is AAA for NorCal CDP #5,
Total Approximate Charge
175.32 EUR

Thanks for checking it all out. ^

I'll have to look into the USAA membership requirements - seems armed services restricted.

I believe their discounts, such as Hertz, is open to all US Citizens. You should read up on it. Here's a screenshot of their membership requirements page: http://imgur.com/9ynfsgA
